Meet the Counselors

Mr. Ben Seyfert

My name is Ben Seyfert and I will be serving as the school counselor for students with the last names of A-G. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Shippensburg before earning my Master in School Counseling (K-12) from Millersville in 2020. As a High School Counselor, I assist students with various academic, personal, and social-emotional needs.

I am very excited to be at Susquenita and working with the high school students!

Miss Harley Straub

Miss Straub is in her sixth year working as a school counselor but first year at Susquenita High School. While this may be Miss Straub's first year working at Susquenita, this is her third year coaching field hockey at Susquenita.

In both high school and college, Miss Straub played field hockey (goalie) and competed for the track and field (throwing) teams as well as was involved in other school activities. Miss Straub received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College (2014) and her Masters of Education in School Counseling at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2016).

Outside of school, Miss Straub enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her nephew. Miss Straub enjoys attending dirt track races at Port Royal and Selinsgrove Speedways weekly as well as other local tracks, occasionally. Miss Straub also works on a sprint car and takes pictures while at the dirt tracks.

Miss Straub is excited and looking forward to working with the students, staff, parents, and community at Susquenita as well as becoming more involved in school activities.
